Top Free Framer Templates in October 2026
A free template can save time, but the right choice depends on the website you need to build. A designer’s case study portfolio, an agency landing page and a course platform each need a different structure.
For October 2026, we have selected five free Framer templates with distinct use cases. The list alternates between three templates by Wize Design and two by independent creators. These are editorial picks based on their Marketplace descriptions and intended uses, not an official Framer ranking.
Disclosure: Presenta, Seasons and Tyne are created by our studio, Wize Design. Fuel and CourseHub are by other creators. All five displayed “Remix for Free” when checked on October 13, 2026.
1. Presenta
A portfolio that explains the thinking behind your work

Best for: Design studios, freelancers and case study portfolios.
Presenta is built for creatives who need to show more than finished visuals. Its CMS-powered project index and case study pages give you room to explain the brief, your approach and the outcome. A homepage, contact page and custom 404 complete the structure.
Choose Presenta when your projects benefit from context. It is a practical fit for designers whose clients need to understand how they think, not simply what their work looks like.
Before you remix: Prepare two or three complete case studies before customizing the template. Strong project stories will do more for this layout than a large collection of unexplained screenshots.

2. Fuel
A minimal foundation for a visual portfolio

Marketplace preview · Fuel by Westhill Studio
Best for: Designers, photographers and creative agencies.
Fuel takes a portfolio-first approach, using a minimal design to keep attention on the work. Its Marketplace listing positions it for freelancers and creative agencies, making it a relevant alternative when your images should carry most of the presentation.
Choose Fuel when you have a focused selection of visually strong projects and want a restrained setting around them. The appeal is the emphasis on the portfolio rather than a long explanation of your services.
Before you remix: Curate your project covers carefully. Consistent image quality and intentional crops will help the portfolio feel cohesive, even when the projects themselves are very different.

3. Seasons
An editorial direction for creative studios

Marketplace preview · Seasons by Wize Design
Best for: Creative studios, visual storytellers and image-led portfolios.
Seasons combines full-screen imagery, bold typography and an editorial layout. The template includes modular sections, service and portfolio layouts, and scroll-based animations. It is designed to give visual work a prominent place while keeping the surrounding content structured.
Choose Seasons when art direction is central to your brand. Compared with a case study-led portfolio, it offers a more immersive way to introduce a studio and its creative point of view.
Before you remix: Start with imagery that works at a large scale. Check each crop on mobile, then keep the accompanying copy concise so the visuals and typography have room to breathe.

4. CourseHub
A starting point for an online course website

Marketplace preview · CourseHub by Danny Sapio
Best for: Educators and creators planning a member-based course platform.
CourseHub is a CMS-powered template designed for online courses. Its listing describes a FrameAuth integration for member-only content, together with sign-in, user accounts, lesson bookmarks and progress tracking. That makes it a different kind of starting point from the portfolio templates in this list.
Choose CourseHub when visitors need to browse courses and learners need to return to their lessons. Its course-focused structure is more relevant to that journey than adapting an agency homepage.
Before you remix: The template is free to remix, but membership functionality relies on FrameAuth. Review that service’s setup and pricing separately before planning your launch; a free template does not mean the complete course platform has no ongoing costs.

5. Tyne
A focused landing page for a digital agency

Marketplace preview · Tyne by Wize Design
Best for: Digital agencies that want a concise introduction to their work.
Tyne is a digital agency landing page template with a portfolio showcase, navigation and animations. It offers a focused starting point for presenting an agency online without turning the website into a large publishing project.
Choose Tyne when your immediate priority is a clear agency introduction. It suits a tighter presentation of your offer and selected work, while Presenta is the stronger option here if detailed CMS case studies are essential.
Before you remix: Write your positioning before editing the page: who you help, what you deliver and why a client should consider you. Use that message to guide which projects and supporting details you feature.

Which template should you choose?
Start with the content your website needs to carry. Choose Presenta for detailed project stories, Fuel for a minimal visual portfolio, Seasons for an immersive studio presentation, CourseHub for a course-focused platform, or Tyne for a concise agency landing page.
Before committing, map your essential pages and try your own content in the template. Check navigation, image crops, text length and mobile layouts. A template that fits your content will be easier to adapt than one chosen only for its opening screen.
Is a free Framer template completely free to launch?
The templates in this list are free to remix. Hosting, custom domains and third-party services are separate considerations. Check Framer’s current plans and any required integrations before publishing. Review each template’s license as well.
Make the template your own
Replace sample projects, generic claims and placeholder imagery with material that reflects your business. The template provides the structure; your offer, work and point of view give the website its identity.
